Resident District Commissioner in Love With Under Age Female Student

The resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Western Uganda district of Bushenyi, Robert Atuhairwe has been suspended from work over his being in love with an under age student .
His deputy has been instructed to act temporarily until new appointment.

The RDC is accused of being in relationship with a S3 girl at Bweranyangi senior secondary school.

Late last week, it was this girl’s birth day. The girl started bragging to her fellow student of how the RDC is her boy friend and will be the birthday cake provider.
Fellow students argued with her saying it was not true.They went with her to the school phone booth and she romantically called the RDC with some students around.

The RDC responded likewise and shortly was at the school with his guards with the cake. A swam of students hugged him shouting “Mura Mura” (meaning brother in law and this caused commotion in the school.
Meanwhile the Bishop who is also chair to the school board of directors was passing by the school to his home and noticed the commotion. He took up the case. The Bushenyi parents raised the concern to state house that it should not have been the representative of the president in the district to defile their children and demanded action.
